Merry Merry Merry Christmas
What is this world coming to
Ok. I understand that everyone has a right to engage in whatever religion they wish, but doesn't that mean I can too. Don't I have freedom of speech as well?
The place where I work are so concerned about offending other peoples religion that they don't want us to say Merry Christmas or wear anything like a Cross necklace. This is offensive towards me, but I need my job.
I have a sister-n-law who is Jewish and I respect her preference and she (I believe) respects mine. I could wish her a Merry Christmas and she could wish me a Happy Hanukkah, or the other way around, and neither would be upset with the other.
The funny thing is we have Christmas trees and wreaths and other Christmas decorations all over the place. I don't know... what is the world coming to...an end!
Oh, by the way... I'm still wishing everyone at work a Merry Christmas! In fact I say it a little louder than "Have a good day"... just saying.
And a Merry Christmas to all of you!
